Field Day is just around the corner.

Are you ready?

The signs of Spring are beginning to appear, and that means one thing. FIELD DAY is coming!

Choose a theme for your Field Day and tailor your events to fit the theme! Some theme ideas are: Pirate Days, Medieval Games, Beach Fun, or The 50 States.

We’ve compiled some checklists, ideas and suggestions that can help make planning this special day easier on you, and help you create an event that is both fun and memorable for your students!

Field Day Materials:

Keep Field Day Safe and Healthy!

  • Stay Safe in the Sun
If your Field Day is outdoors, make you sure to provide plenty of sunscreen, sunglasses, and water to prevent dehydration.
  • Rest Up
Create a rest area. Another way to escape sun damage, this will give kids and adults a chance to relax before their next event. Gather up a tent, chairs, pillows, and water bottles to make it
    more comfortable.
  • Get Off on the Right Foot
Remind students to wear socks and a comfortable pair of tennis shoes. It’s no fun participating in games with sore feet. Save the flip flops for a wacky Field Day game.
  • Good Old H20
Set up water stations and make sure kids know where they can find them. It’s important to stay hydrated throughout the event.
  • Food, Glorious Food
No matter how long your Field Day is, set up picnic tables or a snack area with food (or lunch) to energize kids. Provide lots of fruits and veggies!

Tell us about your field day! Do you have some unique ideas or activities? We want to hear about them!
